Muhu is the third largest island in Estonia and known for its abundant and singular folk traditions. The book holds the stories of seven women named “Angel”. Patterns from skirts, sweaters, quilts form the core elements of the book. The line structure of the images is reminiscent of embroidery. A modern comic book section tells the stories of the angels as a good-natured strip. The book is in English.
